About Me
Hello and welcome! I'm Winston Powell, a.k.a. DJ Winston T. With a lifelong love for music, I discovered my passion for DJing after graduating from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School. Transitioning from musical theater, I refined my skills in mixing, sound equipment, and event management, shaping a successful career.
Transitioning to full-time DJing in 2017 marked a pivotal moment. I've performed at various venues, from festivals to weddings, including gigs at Stage AE and other Pittsburgh hotspots. Despite the pandemic's challenges, my commitment to DJing remained unwavering.
Believing in DJing as a customer service-driven profession, I focus on exceeding expectations. Through ongoing education at events like DJX in Atlantic City and the Wedding MBA in Las Vegas, I've refined my craft and expanded my horizons.
Now, as a dedicated husband and father of three, I approach each event with care. Whether it's a wedding, corporate event, or private party, I aim to create unforgettable moments tailored to each client's vision.
Winston donated his time to The Children’s Heart Foundation and was an absolute hit!! He had the kids and families entertained from start to finish...He was an awesome addition to our Heart Walk and we couldn’t be more grateful!
